1. A Sunshine HumanHi: Sandy Lane Golf Resort and Spa, Barbados The glamorous and gorgeous 'Sandy Lane' opened in 1961, and has a reputation that speaks for itself. Synonymous with luxury, this is the celebrities' favourite stop-off on the hot hot hot Caribbean island of Barbados. Simon Cowell, Michael Winner and Cilla Black always celebrate Christmas here, while Tiger Woods held his wedding on this West Coast piece of paradise. Le Taha'a Island Resort & Spa
by Nobel Literature Prize Nominee and former New York Times Travel Columnist William Tomicki
Romantic Le Taha'a Island Resort & Spa is the most exclusive resort in French Polynesia.

The sole member of Relais & Chateaux in area, it is superbly located on flower-shaped Motu Tautau atop a coral reef with sparkling waters and glistening beaches. Here, a rich aroma of vanilla fills the air and Tahitian life is traditional and tranquil. What separates this oasis from Tahiti is its authenticity, respect for detail and total indulgence provided for guests. Le Taha’s has 48 over water suites and 12 beach suites including two Royal Beach Villas of 2900 sq. ft., all with private decks and direct access to the lagoon. Public areas including three fine restaurants, one of which is nestled in the treetops. The entire resort was built with native hands using local natural materials. Cuisine is derived from the freshest local ingredients and the service is crisp and always with soft smiles. The heart of the resort is the Manea Spa, blessed with an exceptional site nestled in the shade of a coconut grove between the meandering waters of a small lake and the lagoon. Built in pure Polynesian style to merge perfectly with its motu environment, this sanctuary provides soothing treatments. Our favorite: a massage in the lagoon. Silence and harmony with nature are two of the gifts at Le Taha'a gives its visitors. So are 18th and 19th century archeological sites, beach barbecues, picnics, helicopter tours, 4x4 tours, handicraft shopping, and diving. Visit www.letahaa.com

TJW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa
by Nobel Literature Prize Nominee and former New York Times Travel Columnist William Tomicki
Guests often say “How suite it is” when relaxing in plush accommodations at the wonderful JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa in Summerlin just outside of the Las Vegas Strip.

Those who think that a suite is a suite is a suite probably haven’t experienced the luxurious rooms at the JW Marriott Las Vegas. From the moment we entered our room, we were enveloped in a warm ambience of total luxury and comfort. Spacious accommodations and rich furnishings are enhanced by marble flooring, a wet bar and refrigerator, high-speed Internet and 24-hour room service. French doors lead out to balconies with expansive city, mountain or golf views, which all complement the welcoming care of this resort’s own little touches.
It is ENTREE’s belief that true luxury can always be seen in the details—in hotel rooms that means the niceties that only the most committed of resorts deliver. At the JW Marriott, many of the suites come equipped with options of living room seating arrangements and a dining room suite for entertaining. But what really sets them apart are the fabulous marble bathrooms equipped with plush terry bathrobes and oversized towels.

Marbella: humanHi travel
Marbella is a place I visit regularly throughout the year however July and August are the best months for making a Marbella visit as the weather is sky high, well in the 90s with pure sunshine throughout so it is the perfect time to getaway. My late brother, Trevor Goddard, who stared in Pirates of the Caribbean and CBS series Jag, called Marbella “a place to truly escape to” and I can totally identify with that!
Beautiful Marbella is gaining notoriety as one of the most luxurious resort towns in the world. Often referred to as Spain’s answer to Saint-Tropez, the city and beaches of Marbella have become renowned jet set destination points for some of the worlds most celebrated clientele. Famed for world-class sailing, golf and tennis, the city is a mecca of prestigious charm and upscale living. With dazzling white buildings set against the deep, azure Mediterranean sky, the splendour of Marbella is undeniably pleasing to every eye.
