FINAL RESULTS WITH EDUCOGYM®
- 6lbs MORE LEAN MUSCLE MASS!!

Following up on my article last month, when I embarked on the EducoGym® training programme, I am thrilled to report the outcome of a 6lbs gain of lean muscle mass in just 6 weeks! What a result!!

Here are some more questions that I posed to Jagir, one of the Head Trainers at EducoGym Harley Street…
ZS: "There seems to be so many exercise programmes out there, as well as gyms on almost every corner, yet as a nation we seem to be getting fatter, why is that?"
JS: "When people find themselves becoming overweight, they generally start doing aerobics. Research shows that an hour of aerobics, if the calorie intake stays constant, causes weight loss. Sadly however, most of this weight loss is vital muscle. Since body-fat is burned almost exclusively by your muscle, they are the one thing you cannot afford to lose."
ZS: "So we're working harder to get older?"
JS: "Science shows us that any form of exercising or dieting that causes us to lose muscle is a serious step in the wrong direction. In fact, you are actually breaking down the firm body you hoped to produce. Indeed, to lose muscle is extremely damaging to your health, including your immune system and greatly accelerates the rate at which you age. Due to misinformation, we may be speeding up the ageing process, in spite of all the sacrifice, willpower and hard work."
ZS: "Can training really cause rejuvenation?"
JS: "Well, as we age we lose 30% of our muscle mass. Indeed, after the age of 30, we lose muscle at the rate of about ½lb/yr. Unfortunately, this also includes muscle mass from our vital organs. Even if we stay at the same body weight throughout our lifetime, fat replaces muscle tissue. All of this may lead to cardiovascular problems, poor functioning of organs such as liver, brain, heart and reduced hormonal secretion. As a result, our bodies go from shapely to shapeless as we lose our strength, feel, look and become old."
ZS: "Why do you use a low-repetition training routine?"
JS: "One of the main aims of the educogyms is to get everybody into great shape, but also for it to be easily maintained, so you don't have the typical yoyo affect that most people experience in their typical gym with a so-called diet. One of the best ways to do this is to have a more powerful "furnace" which for the human body is muscle. Now just by having an extra 3 lbs of muscle you'll be burning an extra 150 - 300 calories a day (each lb of muscle burns between 50 - 100 calories a day) by doing no extra work, so you'll have a higher metabolism. Imagine burning extra calories whilst watching TV!"
"Our routine includes mostly 3 lots of 6 repetitions which has been shown to be one of the best ways to increase lean muscle tissue. Now, before people start thinking they can do this themselves, you want to ensure you are really going full-out - this is where the supervised training plays a huge role and this is also combined with a 'natural nutrition' programme which is vital."
ZS: "Does intense training create physical stress and Cortisol production which in turn destroys muscle tissue?"
JS: "The hormone Cortisol will be released but can be minimised by reducing the length of the training session as well as adding the unique mental approach. One of the other great factors about the educogym style of training is the group dynamics. As you're in a small group, the research shows training in these conditions puts the individual under less stress, therefore releasing even less Cortisol."
ZS: "How are hormone levels rebalanced through the Educo nutritional plan?"
JS: "Hormones are what turn girls into women and boys into men. When they decline we become weak, frail and old. At any age, once they become unbalanced this may lead to body-fat increases and lean muscle tissue decreases."
"The root of this dietary problem is that human beings for over 99.8% of our time on the planet ate a very different diet than in the last 0.2% of our time. Our present, less natural diet quite simply produces excess insulin, while our natural diet returns our insulin levels to normal. Excess insulin has been shown in turn to suppress Human growth hormone (HGH). Return insulin levels to normal and growth hormone can exert its natural function on the body. By eating a natural diet we can halt premature aging and achieve better health while increasing lean muscle and permanently eliminating excess body fat."
