How To Make Every Day A humanHi Holiday!
Stress Out
There are only 24 hours in a day - A human can physically only do so much work in a day (8 hours). You need to understand these two basic facts to understand how stress can ruin your life. Pace yourself and take control, don’t let your work drag you down as it will make you stressed and ill.
Work Out
Join A Good Health Club and work out so you have a body you can be proud of and feel healthier too. You will be less tired and have more energy, therefore able to have a life outside of work. When you have finished your work out swim a few laps and relax in a spa and sauna – imagine you are on a beach somewhere and relax, this is your time.
Eat Out
Take your partner or friend out for lunch or dinner at least once a week, even if it’s just a pub lunch in a nice beer garden. Taking your time to eat in an enjoyable place with nice company helps you relax. Eat fresh fish and a good glass of wine and make the most of your dining experience like you would if you were on holiday.
Go Out
Meet friends over the weekend for a few glasses of wine. Make new friends and socialise! Chatting and laughing makes you feel great. Chatting about work, love and life with friends in a bar is releasing your anxiety and worries whilst laughing and becoming relaxed. Go for a walk after a meal and think about something nice like your holiday!
Your Real Holiday
Make sure you have at least two weeks on holiday a year and plan for it. Most tour operators allow you to make interest free monthly payments leading up to your holiday so it doesn’t have to be an expensive one down payment.
The process of paying monthly and getting organised to go away makes you feel good because you have something nice to look forward to. Buy a new T Shirt or beach towel to help remind you of your holiday and relax because it will soon come round!
